Licensed Therapeutic Massage
Kathleen Gramzay, LMT, NCTMB

I am a licensed massage therapist and have been in private practice since
1999, when I graduated from Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College in
Scottsdale, AZ. In addition to my practice, I worked as a therapist at The
Ritz-Carlton working on professional athletes in baseball, basketball, football,
hockey, golf, and boxing.
An intense passion to understand how the body moves led me to many hours
of additional study in anatomy and kinesiology and changed my approach to
massage. It led me to utilize the body's design and movement to restore
balance in a very comfortable and efficient manner. Additionally, that passion
combined with the desire to see more graduating therapists grounded in
science, resulted in my joining the staff of Southwest Institute of Healing
Arts.  There, I very much enjoyed teaching massage students what is
beneath the fingertips in both Anatomy, and Anatomical Kinesiology.
My passion has now evolved to sharing my own method of massage -
Kinessage
® Massage Through Movement in Continuing Education courses for
experienced therapists, so that they may care for themselves as they care for
others.

My previous education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
from the University of Phoenix, and years experience in the business world.

Testimonals

"Kathleen's diverse educational background allows customized massage
therapy that is suited for the general population to the professional athlete.
Her massage technique incorporates kinesiology (muscle movement) and
myofacial release for the body and a (soft) holistic approach for the spirit.  I
enthusiastically recommend Kathleen both personally and professionally to help
sooth both body and soul!!"
